Objective

To ensure the effective and efficient management of the activities carried out by the workshop including service, plant and operational activities, so as to maintain and develop the workshop function in line with the business needs.

Responsibilities

Manage and control day to day workshop activities to ensure that customer requirements, quality and standards are maintained.

Ensure scheduled repair times are adhered to.

Effective management of hours bought and sold including salaries and overtime.

Manage productivity and efficiency of all workshop and support staff

Control workshop costs including repair and maintenance spend and third party repairs in line with agreed budgets.

Oversee the management and development of the Parts Department including maintenance of stock levels.

Ensure maintenance standards are compliant with legal and company obligations

Manage KPI's and workshop debt.

Ensure Health and Safety compliance within workshop

Responsible for the Management, and development of Workshop staff

Resolve customer/invoice queries

Control of service vans including repairs and fuel

Ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction are met as per operational KPI's

Other Duties

Liaise with 3rd party repairers as required

Monitor measure and report on workshop plans, issues and achievements within agreed timescales

Support Sales/Key Accounts team in customer reviews and issue resolution

Liaise with other Managers so as to understand and support all aspects of the business

Working hours Monday - Friday 8 - 6pm and alternate Sats 7 - 12pm
