My client is a multinational contractor that provides fit out and refurbishment services to their customers in the Commercial, Leisure, Education, Retail and Industrial sectors. Current turnover for this client is around the £40m mark and they have a robust growth strategy in place to grow that turnover to £150m over the next 3 years. As a result of this continued growth, this client is looking to add an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to their head office team in Manchester.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold a 2:1 (or higher) degree in Quantity Surveying with MRICS status (not essential), commutable to Manchester, and experience delivering Cat A and/or Cat B fit out projects in similar sectors to the ones that the client deals in. Project Values for this role range from £2.5m through to £12.5m and projects tend to be situated in the Greater Manchester/West Yorkshire areas.

Day to day, this client would look for their Senior Quantity Surveyor to perform tasks such as:

+Direct commercial elements of project through all stages of the project.
+Analysis and reporting of cost and risks.
+Supervise project procurement.
+Manage all commercial aspects of subcontractors.
+Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
+Manage project change order procedures and agree any changes with client.
+Provide monthly valuations and certs.
+Agree final accounts.
+Review all incoming correspondence to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.

In return for the hard work of their Senior Quantity Surveyors, this client offers a competitive salary/package along with a clearly defined career path that is tailored to the individual needs of each employee.
