Assistant Site Manager / Logistics Manager | New build - Residential Developer

Circa £35,000 to £42,500 + Car Allowance + Travel Paid (home to site) + Package

Our client is a leading residential developer that specialises in delivering high quality residential and mixed-use projects. Their portfolio includes new build 42-storey towers in the Docklands, small luxury penthouses to permitted development office to residential schemes across London and Greater London.

The company is the second largest developer in London with over 700 staff and over 40 live sites. This is a fantastic company to work for, with a great reputation for retaining staff.

There is an immediate requirement for an experienced Assistant Site Manager / Logistics Manager to work on a 1.14 hectare site, comprising the demolition of one to two storey light industrial/warehouse buildings and the construction of two to six-storey buildings providing 227 residential units (4-bed houses, 1-bed, 2-bed, 3-bed and studio flats). The site has 9-12 months remaining.

The ideal candidate for this position must be a team player, have excellent communication skills and must have residential experience (either for a developer or contractor) on projects valued between £5m and £50m+.

Duties:

* Controlling deliveries, gates, welfare, hoists, forklifts, store and storage compounds
* Coordinating site deliveries /collections
* Co- Managing Logistics meetings
* Coordination between Sub-Contractors
* Traffic Management on site (loading bays, roads, holding area)
* Managing logistic operation
* Welfare set up
* Crane set up coordination
* H&S Support - (Hole protection, site access\ egress, signage, Walkways, COSHH storage, gas storage, site notice boards etc.)
* Site hoarding (maintain and removal)
* Co- Managing waste removal from site
* Preparation external areas for Sub- Contractors
* Ordering materials, tools, plant, cabins
* Managing site events and VIP visits

This is a permanent role and will suit candidates with a stable track record.
