Fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Public Health Engineer to join a reputable design consultancy on a part-time contractual basis, and working from home. Our client prides themselves on delivering quality CAD services including site surveying, 2D & 3D modelling, and record drawings. From working on notable commercial, residential and healthcare projects, they have gained a catalogue of distinguished clients. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Public Health Engineer to gain valuable career experience working on a number of major residential projects around the UK.

As the successful candidate, you will have a number of roles and responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of projects, which will include:

* Providing high-quality designs that meet strict deadlines
* Preparing calculations, specifications and drawings that meet client briefs
* Checking designs of junior team members and providing assistance when necessary
* Designing and coordinating public health engineering services such as fire protection systems, hot and cold water systems, and gas pipework

In order for responsibilities to be carried out effectively, it is essential for candidates to have the following skills, experience and attributes:

* Proficient using relevant technical design software including AutoCAD or Revit
* Proven experience working on residential projects
* Degree qualified, or other relevant qualification
* Understanding of current UK building regulations and legislation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience working in a leadership role
* Good attention to detail and analytical skills
* Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent organisational skills
