The job

This is a brand-new position due to company growth and the business is dedicated to the ongoing development and promotion of the right candidate, therefore there is excellent scope for progression.
You will carry out day to day insurance administration of a designated portfolio of clients, deal with client telephone enquiries, carry out negotiation of renewal terms with insurers, re-broking existing business, broking new business and dealing with claims.

Your experience

You will be a naturally confident communicator, be articulate and possess an excellent telephone manner. You will have a minimum of 2 years commercial insurance experience. To succeed, you will possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism, close attention to detail, an inquisitive mind and willingness to learn plus a genuine desire to be helpful to both customers and colleagues.
Some progression towards professional qualification would be a benefit and the company will fully fund any further studies.

More details

The Commercial Account Handler is based in East Grinstead and is paying £20,000 to £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus excellent benefits (after a qualifying period) including life assurance, private medical insurance, pension, staff loan and 25 days holiday, increasing for length of service and position.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
