Accounts Assistant?

My client a training company based in Maidenhead is looking for a Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT!

Your main duties will involve;

- Responsible for chasing of overdue invoices by phone and email.
- Keep accurate records of each contact with customers.
- Work supervised and show high levels on initiative when dealing with customers / internal processes.
- Keep accurate weekly / monthly cash collection forecasting.
- Have accurate cash allocation skills.
- Liaise with internal departments and customers ensuring invoices are paid whilst being aware of commercial relationship.
- Reconcile customer accounts.
- Setting up new customer accounts.
- Raising weekly invoices and credit notes.
- Purchase ledger entry.
- Purchase ledger payment run.
- Bank reconciliations - as and when required.

The successful applicant must;

- SAGE 50 experience preferred.
- Be able to work to deadlines.
- Previous experience within credit control / debt recovery department.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be organised, punctual & reliable.
- Enthusiastic, friendly and helpful.
