Alexander Daniels are working in partnership with a well-known business in the Black Country to assist with the appointment of an assured Finance Manager. This is a key role within the finance function to bolster the team and support accurate reporting, analysis, forecasting and overall development of the finance team.
Following a great start to the year, this piece of recruitment comes at an exciting time for the business as they look to maximise the use of the finance team to push forward plans and add real value. The business is always looking at ways to be more efficient, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to ensure all systems and reporting are fit for purpose, robust and efficient, driving implementing improvements and enhancements where necessary, imbedding best practice.
As this is a new role, the business is really looking appointment someone that will grow with the business which represents a fantastic opportunity for any individual to add value and influence the future shape of a large team. You will support the Finance Director and manage a team of five direct reports covering statutory reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and treasury.
Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant post qualification experience in a similar role. You will be commercially astute, with the ability to demonstrate strong business acumen along with experience of managing team and a strong technical reporting knowledge.
