Field Sales Representative

IDEAL Industries are looking to recruit an experienced Field Sales Representative to grow our business and customers base in the Scotland and Ireland.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Support the UK Sales Manager - Electrical to achieve regional and company objectives.

- Manage and drive sales target against agreed distributor accounts in a defined geographic region.

- Develop existing and new relationships with wholesaler branches of strategic distributors.

- Deliver prescribed campaign presentations as defined by active marketing programmes.

- Identify and call on End-Users, M&E contractors and OEM manufacturers to develop opportunities for core products, in particular wire termination

- Deliver product and application training to distributor branch staff.

- Increase end-user awareness through the use of pre-defined well executed branch promotions, trade counter events/breakfast mornings and placement of dedicated "Point of Sale" materials.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, bright and positive individual who is looking for a challenge. The role will require you to be proactive, confident and self-motivated to actively manage customer accounts and acquire new business. You will have to be approachable, flexible, be able to work individually as well as in a small team of professionals.

It is essential that you will have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken word that you can effectively demonstrate when interacting with a range of individuals.

Ideally we are looking for 18 to 24 months role relevant experience, preferably within the electrical wholesale sector however not essential.

You will undergo full business and product training program.

Company car, laptop and phone will be provided.

Annual leave is 25 days plus bank holidays.
