My client are looking to recruit a full time, permanent Senior Key Account Manager, to join their growing Sales team. The position will report to the Sales Director and the postholder will spend 3 days per week based in their Warwick site, and2 days based at their Portsmouth site. The company are a global automotive parts manufacturer, and this is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful team.

The main duties of this role are:

* Manage and maintain overall customer satisfaction.

* Deliver new business nominations and complete programme contract details and requirements. Maintain a disciplined SDS programme kick-off process.

* Check successful programme execution for new projects to ensure customer satisfaction is being achieved.

* Regular liaison visits to ensure enhanced customer communication and perception.

* Commercial Performance of current and future business.

* Report on performance of the local CSC against Global Sales KPI's.

* Market and competitor intelligence gathering.

* Lead marketing of new products and technologies in conjunction with local Key Account Managers.

* Manage & co-ordinate the activities necessary to achieve the local/global sales organisation business targets.

* Ensure identified customer needs are understood and acted upon by the relevant operating company.

* Coordinate bid team process for new quotation activities, and support the local Key Account Managers in their quotation activities as required in line with the requirements with SDS Phase Zero.

* Co-ordinate activities and develop good customer relationships.

* Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve revenue and profitability growth.

* Annual economics and general business negotiations to maintain commercial performance of current business.

* Business Planning.

* Provide a strong contribution to the development of customer strategies.
* Liaise and integrate with Global Sales Organisation representing the interests of the relevant customers and operating companies.

* Maintain interface with local and regional Operating Company Management Teams.

* Manage revenue growth development and profitability for all new and replacement business in accordance with the Sales Pipeline (iSP).

To be considered for interview, you must demonstrate the following skills:

* Minimum degree calibre level
* Computer literacy
* Engineering Qualification
* Automotive Tier 1 or OEM experience
* Previous Account Management & Leadership experience
* Automotive Industry knowledge
* Effective interpersonal/communication skills
* Ability to analyse information and facts to support effective decision making and business recommendations
* Ability to manage own time and prioritise activities to achieve customer & business objectives
* Strong commercial acumen

Please note that this position will require 2 working days per week in Portsmouth and 3 working days per week in Warwick, this is non-negotiable
