Interim Head of Finance & Resources (charity)
I Am Recruiting for an Interim Head of Finance & Resourcing at a wonderful small charity based in North London. The role is for an initial period of 6-12 months with a good chance of an extension/permanent contract thereafter.
The role reports directly to the CEO and includes managing one full-time member of staff (Finance Assistant). Our client is looking for an expert Financial Accountant who can deliver on the production of all monthly and annual accounts, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, work on one-off projects and maintain a full financial control agenda.
In addition to the accounting framework, the post holder will be relied on for the strategic development of the charity’s facilities and resources plan. The will include dealing with all office contracts and services, managing facilities as required, develop NACH IT systems and supporting other departments with efficient collaborative working.
The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant with great experience in producing statutory accounts. The organisation uses SAGE (experience required) and would prefer candidates to have a charity background. Other experience necessary for the role: liaising with auditors, payroll preparation, strategy, leadership and a good level of IT systems knowledge.
