Our client is a leading trend forecasting information provider for global consumer markets based in Central London servicing a diverse range of clients within advertising & marketing, fashion, beauty, interior brands and retailers, travel & tourism and consumer electronics.
Due to growth opportunities our client is currently looking to recruit for a Strategic Account Director for their Account Management team in Central London.
You will be responsible for managing, maintaining / retaining and growing revenue from existing clients with leading brands in the UK dealing with senior level decision makers including Heads of Strategy / Heads of Innovation / Heads of Research and developing 'long term’ relationships whilst at the same time making sure clients are happy with the services they are receiving and providing any additional training required.
There will be an emphasis on renewing existing contracts whilst also cross selling / upselling other services including bespoke research / advisory services / consulting.
This is very much a client facing role and will offer an ambitious Account Manager / Account Director plenty of autonomy and progression to work for this super cool and trendy research firm.
- Degree educated
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development or account management
- Experience of selling market research or advisory services
- Good knowledge / experience of market trends
- Commercially aware with experience of managing, growing and developing key accounts
- Experience of selling and presenting face to face to senior level decision makers
- Experience of selling into Retail / Consumer / FMCG / Media / Agencies
