Robertson Bell is working with a charitable organisation with a strong reputation in the sector to find a Finance Manager to take on the responsibility for producing the financial information for the organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will oversee a team of two and ensure the timely production of management accounts and working closely with the Director to put together the statutory accounts. The Finance Manager will consistently oversee the transactional team to ensure information is processed accurately and on time. Responsible for monitoring the cash flow and preparing a comprehensive statement of income and expenditure, the Finance Manager will also work across the organisation with finance and non-finance staff to business partner and provide sound financial advice to budget holders.

The successful candidate will be part or fully qualified and will have experience overseeing the production of the management accounts with exposure to putting together financial accounts. Good communication skills are essential, as is strong staff management experience. Experience in a not for profit organisation would be beneficial but not essential, whilst having prepared external audits and having experience implementing and integrating a financial system is essential.
