KHR are working with an award winning Colocation who are based in Kent and South East of England. They are looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Officer with proven experience of ISO certification and other information security standards.

As the Compliance officer, you will be required to introduce and implement standards within the company as directed by the board of directors. Whilst ensuring the company's compliance with ISO, by initially focusing on ISO 27001 and any other customer specific compliance matters including ITIL standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Auditing qualifications (e.g. lead assessor) and can offer a minimum of 2 years' experience within an audit and compliance role.
Work closely with the IT, sales, HR and site functions to meet compliance standards and regulations.
Build a framework to effectively communicate compliance and health and safety requirements through the business and deliver training where appropriate to company policies and regulatory requirements, including induction training in these areas.
Assist in ensuring that the site(s) continues to be inspection ready at any time for those standards that are maintained.
Conduct internal audits and health and safety walk throughs in order to verify compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Managing information security incidents in line with ISO 27001 requirements, to establish root cause and effective preventive actions.
Planning and overseeing a programme of penetration testing and related continuous information security improvement for all key systems.
Review and refresh policy and procedures for management systems in place, including business continuity / disaster recovery.
Provide day to day regulatory advice and support on compliance issues across the organisation.
Research, monitor and keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practice across the industry sector to support compliance.

Role Requirements

A proven experience of ISO certification.
Auditing qualifications (e.g. lead assessor) and minimum of 2 years' experience within an audit and compliance role.
Have a good working knowledge of risk management good practice.
Demonstrate experience in developing and documenting policies, processes and procedures.
Working knowledge of health and safety risk assessment, policy and procedures
Experience of business continuity / disaster recovery planning.
An understanding of government security policies and procedures and ISO standards
Adaptable and discreet.
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels.
Excellent ICT skills, excellent literacy and numeracy.
Must be willing and eligible to undergo security clearance.
Highly motivated individual able to operate in a challenging but exciting environment.
