Business Analyst / QA Test Analyst
West London/Uxbridge area

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst/QA Test Analyst to join a private equity company with a growing software and technology focus. Recent investment in our ecommerce product requires the expansion of the team which supports and grows the feature set to be expanded; the new product follows a SaaS based platform model and multi tenanted deployment. We want to broaden the uses and functionality for our clients and develop the product further.

Duties and Responsibilities will include
Initially you will be tasked with refining the QA Testing Process. This will involve Hands–on Functional and UAT testing, creating test scripts, test plans and test strategy along with the execution of these test plans. Once this has been established then your attention will be split 50/50 between QA Test and Business Analysis duties.

Requirements analysis (internal & external stakeholders) meeting with both business stakeholders and clients to capture requirements and user stories, wire framing screen layouts and documenting these for discussion and translation to the development team.
Lead engaging elicitation sessions with business stakeholders / Product Owner(s) to completely understand business problems, opportunities and requirements

Demonstrate quality deliverables by authoring release notes, requirements, models, user stories etc. utilising best practices with minimal re-work
Build structured, clear, quality communications and deliverables to present information, ideas, approaches and/or proposals to an audience

The following specific experience and skills would be advantageous:
QA Analyst with Business Analysis experience
Ability to deliver QA Test environments
Experience implementing process and carrying out functional UAT testing
Experience with Test management case tools
Liaising with clients for UAT sign off and change management procedures
Experience working in change management
Availability to undertake the occasional travel required nationally
Ability to pick up functional and technical knowledge to be effective as quickly as possible
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Creation of strategic business plans which effectively deliver results
The ability to understand and interpret straightforward financial data
Experience in functional and non-functional testing methodologies, exploratory testing, testing web applications and web services/web API’s

Qualifications
Full, clean UK driving license
Educated to a degree level or relevant knowledge and experience
