PMO MANAGER - MILTON KEYNES

The PMO Manager (Implementations) will lead the provision of a high quality, reliable Project Management Office service against all client accounts, projects and programmes for all Implementations line of business. As well as project office services this role will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of all internal business reporting and associated tools for Implementations eg Resource management tools, utilisation reporting and will act as the primary liaison for Services on all Implementation projects and resource issues.

The PMO Manager (Implementations) will also be responsible for the monitoring and review of adherence of the project and programme portfolio to the Wincor-Nixdorf (WN) governance and delivery framework inclussive of all underlying project management processes specifically compliance against operational, commercial and governance processes and standards.

The PMO Manager must also support management and mentoring of other PMO staff. Where required provide PMO services to project and programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* To ensure effective planning for Implementation project/programme deliveries including plan reviews.
* To drive the implementation and usage of appropriate Project management tools within the Implementation team particularly supporting the project and programme managers eg SAP, MS Project, Shareport Portal, Commercial trackers, schedule trackers, Stock Systems (SAP and partner systems) delivery framework any new systems that are added from time to time, i.e. customer toolsets.
* To work with Wincor Services Continuous Improvement team adopting and sharing best practices across the divisions and ensuring alignment to agreed regional and global standards. The PMO Manager will have a dotted reporting line into the CI Manager to ensure open lines of commuinication regards standards and shared best practice.
* To manage the effective development and production of business reporting and analysis covering project/programme progress, risks, P&L, performance etc as well as resource management, allocation, utilisation analysis KPI performance and reporting to support and drive business strategy development and implementation.
* To manage the set up and delivery of all PMO services for all project/programmes within the relevant business area.
* To lead the implementation and management of appropriate resource management tools - to include acting as the Implementations representative in any project or programme development/rollouts. To act as the primary interface for the relevant line of business co-ordinating the required input to business planning and operational management reporting eg Commercial, HR and Resourcing teams.

* To maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing and ensure that issues are escalated and resolved
* To complete ad hoc duties and tasks allocated through the line management chain from time to time.

* To monitor resourcing, identifying potential instances of under/over utilisation and work with relevant Implementation and Services managers to resolve any issues.
* To ensure adequate capacity and forecasting planning methodologies are utilised to ensure Wincor Nixdorf Implementations management teams and partners can resource and plan to match forthcoming demands.
* To manage the forcasting of Wincor Nixdorf supply chain resources ensuring maximum utilisation delivering cost effective operational delivery and support.
* To measure resources provided by Wincor Nixdorf supply chain performance to agreed metrics/standards addressing any underperformance directly with the relevant provider.
* To proactivley support and promote continuous service improvement through the analysis of relevant MI to drive quality and commercial improvements and benefits into the business.
* To set and agree objectives for PMO team members to ensure achievement of results and focus and motivation of staff. To monitor performance against targets on a regular basis; taking remedial action as necessary.
* To participate in the Implementations management team and actively support the other leaders to ensure the overall business targets are achieved
