Our client is currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager/ Service Designer to work in London or Nottingham. The Supply Chain Design Manager supports the directorate through leading on the detailed design of supply chain workstreams for new business. This includes ensuring the appropriate supply chain frameworks are in place for the organisation to deliver a supply chain management approach.

The role will support the Head of Supply Chain Design with the overall Supply Chain Strategy development during bidding and mobilisation, through to development and ongoing assessment in relation to the use of supply chain frameworks within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply chain solutions
• Support the development of the supply chain strategy and design of new programmes to ensure that the needs of delivery partners are taken into account in the development of delivery model requirements. Ensure supply chains are designed to maximise the outcomes for our programmes and positively contribute to the outcomes of the bidding process.
• Engage with subject matter experts in and beyond the business to inform design solutions.
• Lead supply chain service design workstreams on large / strategically significant bids or product development projects including producing accurate costings.
• Attend industry events, external partner meetings to support the development of relationships prior to bidding activity (as required).

Knowledge
• Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain Practice and Design
Experience
• Working in a supply chain or partnerships role.
• Proven track record in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Successfully delivering performance and/or quality improvements.
• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working on the delivery of outsourced public services (desirable).
• Project management experience (desirable).
• Experience of developing online content through platforms such as Share Point (desirable)
