A unique and well established Software House is searching for a SQL Developer to join a small team and operated with a DevOps mentality. The chosen SQL Developer must have proven experience working the full project life cycle and have a strong understanding of agile ( scrum methodologies ).

The chosen candidate will work collaboraive with the .NET developers and the operations team in order to streamline the Application Develop of a brand new product. This includes providing overall high level technical support resource, taking ownership of key customer deployments as well as developing a strategic plan to deliver improvements in the key deliverables.

Role responsibilities;

* Take ownership of the application upgrade process and ensure that all customers are on the latest version.
* Focus on process efficiencies and automation to improve operational effectiveness.
* Take an active role in managing complex deployments with major clients.
* Liaise closely with the Development team to provide improvements in the delivery of upgrades.
* Providing additional adhoc assistance to internal departments where required.
* Assisting with complex customer data requests and support cases.
* Assisting in pre-sales discussions regarding large scale deployments where necessary.

Core Skill Set

* 5 + years of relevant work experience and or equivalent mix of work and project experience.
* Exposure to replication technologies and experience in large scale deployments.
* Understanding of software product development cycles
* Experience of multi product/legacy product strategy
* Build and execute MS SQL queries and stored procedures
* Scripting and building automation tool expereince
* Writing & understanding Transact-SQL
* Understanding of basic html/JavaScript
* Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
