We are currently seeking 3 Permanent Facilities Assistant's in Heathrow, T4 at £22,048, please see below for daily responsibilities;

Role Overview
To carry out planned cleaning of all baggage system equipment to a standard normal for industrial equipment and acceptable to the Heathrow Fire Prevention Officer

Key Duties;
-To understand the Babcock Airports isolations procedure and to carry out local isolations of baggage equipment
-To remove and re-fit baggage equipment guarding where necessary
-The closure of all associated MAXIMO work orders
-To understand the Babcock Airports permit to work system and to carry out the permit to work system to authorisation level
-To carry out minor mechanical work as instructed by the Maintenance Team Leader
-To support all aspects of Babcock Airports Maintenance Team activities at Heathrow Airport as required
-Protect the information assets of the Company and comply with the Company's Information Assurance policies and procedures at all times.

Essential Role Requirements:
-Be a good communicator, responsible and have the physical attributes for this role
-Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces alike
-Have basic mechanical skills
-Display the ability to multi-task
-Have basic computer literacy
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Able to work as part as of a team
-Be able to manage/ prioritise cleaning schedule with time restrictions
-Basic knowledge of tools/ cleaning equipment that will be required to complete duties
-To carry out minor mechanical works as instructed by the Maintenance Team Leader
-Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
-Eligible to obtain a valid Airside Pass

-Have previous industrial environment experience
