As a Technical Support Engineer you will be joining the team of a well established multinational company located in Redditch.  Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm.  You will enjoy profit and performance related bonuses, life assurance and much more!

As the Technical Support Engineer your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting and repairing the company`s portfolio of handheld computers / data collectors;
- Hardware troubleshooting of printed circuit boards;
- Repairing, modifying and servicing handheld computers / data collectors;
- Providing end user support and product training to deliver first class customer service pre and post sales to clients.

The successful Technical Support Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

- Have experience working within a support and repair, repair technician, service technician role or equivalent;
- Experience of soldering both through hole and surface mount component;
- Troubleshooting experience of printed circuit board and repair to component level;
- The ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Android Operating Systems and Computer programming / software development.

In return, you will receive a salary of £20,000 - £30,000 pa depending on experience plus pension.
