*** Calling all experienced CREDIT CONTROLLERS ***

My client is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

Main duties:

* To manage the sales ledger as part of a credit control team
* To ensure the timely and efficient collection of cash from customers, in line with agreed terms, with responsibility for cash allocation.
* Chasing of slow paying customers, reconciling account queries in a timely manner and advising relevant people on account status.
* Ensure all customer files are kept up to date and complete with original signed paperwork as per internal controls.
* Building effective working relationships with internal colleagues, especially within the sales function
* Preparation of ageing reports for credit control meetings, follow up actions with parties responsible throughout the month.
* Manages customer debt, ensuring potential issues are identified and flagged
* Reviews payment plans and customers purchase history to advise on course of action with customers.
* Effective Customer-Facing Communication (Oral / Written) ensuring the company is professionally represented.
* Proactive follow up on credit control meetings with internal departments ensuring issues outstanding on customer's accounts are resolved.

Candidate requirements:

* Previous experience in a Credit Control is essential
* IT literate, with a good level of MS Excel experience
* Effective team player with ability to make effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation
* Strong communication skills with external customers, with a professional and customer centred focus
* Reliable, trustworthy and honest by nature.
