I am recruiting for one of the UK's leading general insurance and financial services company and they are looking for a Claim Handler to join their Property team.

Managing and processing property claims, you'll listen closely to the customer and what they need, giving them peace of mind at a stressful time.

You will not be restricted to just speaking with the customer. You'll also be liaising with other agents and relevant third parties to settle the claim quickly and efficiently. You will have the responsibility to decide on legal liability and policy liability issues, making sure to comply with all regulatory and internal system controls.

In this position, you will have the freedom to make decisions and handle claims ub the way that you think is best.

Job Role:
- Proving a quality customer service
- Deciding on legal liability and policy liability issues
- Complying with all regulatory and internal systems controls.
- Dealing with all aspects of property claims, including third party liability claims but excluding personal injury.
- Intimating and handling claims through to settlement.
- Handling claims in accordance with laid down quality and service standards.
- Using the telephone for incoming and outgoing calls to discuss claims with customers, agencies and suppliers.
- Handling incoming written and telephone enquiries from policyholders and the agency network

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience within claims and in providing excellent customer service with a demonstrable knowledge and commitment to excellent customer care. They'll also have a positive "can-do" attitude with a strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
