Payroll Assistant

Part time – 25 hours per week over 5 days

Salary – £10-12ph

My client is a family run accountancy firm based near Chichester. Due to the expansion of the business they are looking for a Payroll Assistant. The successful payroll Administrator should have experience in using Sage and Excel, have knowledge of RTI and Auto-Enrollment, be confident in contacting clients on a regular basis and have the ability to prioritise work and achieve deadlines.

The Role

The Successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking payroll duties including;
• Processing weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Submit all necessary payroll information to HMRC.
• Setting up new starters and processing leavers.
• Issuing P45’s and other tax forms.
• Checking and auditing payrolls to make sure regulations are met.
• Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expenses.
• Contacting clients for relevant information i.e hours.
• CIS return duties.
• Preparing payroll reports and payslips.
• Processing statutory payments for sickness, maternity, Tax and NI.
• A genuine desire to learn and develop their payroll knowledge and experience

Due to the location candidates are required to drive.
