Graduate Technical Support Specialist

The Geoban UK Graduate Scheme offers a two-year structured program aimed at developing talent to build the leaders of the future. The Graduate program will enable you to take on a real role in technical support. For Geoban UK, the main asset the bank owns is their data, placing this department is at the heart of important Business decisions. You will have the opportunity to take on this responsibility from day one in a role which will enable you to develop your communication, presentation and influencing skills. You will be fully supported throughout the program and alongside the support of the Graduate community, you will be allocated a buddy and a mentor in Senior Management.

Location: Milton Keynes

Pay & Benefits: £28,000 per annum with a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme and discretionary annual bonus.

Working Hours: 35 Hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Start Date: 4th September 2017

The assessment centre will be held on Tuesday 4th July in Milton Keynes. This is a full day assessment. All applicants must be available to attend on this date.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

A relevant degree: Looking for a relevant degree at 2:1 or above. We are particularly interested in science, economics, mathematics & statistics degrees. You will also need a numerical based A level.
An ability and passion for “playing with data”: Geoban UK are data driven and are always looking for new ways to use data. A passion for Data Quality, MI, Processes Improvements and Automation are a key requirement. You will need the ability to produce and present data in a professional format.
Presentation skills: This role will require you to not only generate and interpret data but to communicate your findings effectively to influence others. We are looking for confident communicators with the ability to network.
Analytical skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines: Excellent organisation skills are required to enable you to proactively manage your own time and workload to meet deadlines.
