Procurement & Stores Assistant

Salary: £16,000

We are looking for the right person to join our busy Estates & Procurement Team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Estates and Procurement Team in delivering an outstanding service to meet the demands of a vibrant educational and commercial environment.

This active role is vital in overseeing the delivery of resources into the College - sometimes using lifting equipment, of which training will be provided. As well as stores management and stock control, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods, processing purchasing orders, updating key information on college systems, working to a high level of accuracy and at times, meeting tight deadlines.

The role will suit an energetic person who has excellent organisational and computer skills, with a high quality approach to customer service and enjoys a varied and active working day. Training will be provided for the operation of electronic gates and lifting equipment.

This is your opportunity to develop a career in Procurement or Estates and to make your mark in a rewarding further education environment.

The application closing date is Monday 30 January 2017 with interviews being held on Tuesday 9 February 2017. If applying, please ensure you can make yourself available on this date - thank you. Please apply and we shall contact you via email.

We are only able to contact you if you are shortlisted for interview, and we will do this via e-mail so please ensure we have your accurate contact details when registering, including a contact telephone number.
