This award-winning group is one of the UK's largest independently owned specialist tour operators is searching for an innovative Senior Marketing Executive with travel industry experience who has the desire to drive forward an expanding multi-channel marketing department. This is an opportunity to manage the Study and Sport Experiences Branch of the group from strategy input and implementation through to all aspects of marketing support.

You will deliver a commercial out look on annual planning and day to day departmental activities and will work closely with the data analyst to target and segment customer data. The Senior Marketing Executive will also Support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and managing the Marketing Team and in achieving the marketing budget and targets and much more.

Key Accountabilities:
- Liaise with the Senior Marketing Manager to organise and schedule work-flow in the Marketing & Data team
- Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop team members and identify areas that require support
- Support, mentor and develop a Marketing Executive
- Organise work-flow for a Marketing Executive, and review development needs where required
- Employ commercial acumen as standard with regards to all decision making to ensure that business objectives, targets and timelines are met
- Project manage direct mail promotions, campaigns and programmes to their database of customers within agreed budgets and timescales and with all relevant approvals
- Provide original copy for marketing and email campaigns whilst providing fast and accurate copy edits on existing documents
- Proof all marketing materials to ensure consistency, sense and accuracy
Study and Sports Branch
- Assist with campaign management and production to support the Study and Sport 2017 - 2018 Plan
- Represent Study and Sport Experiences in the Marketing department, and manage the relationship between the Study and Sport Experiences Director and the wider marketing team
- Project manage email and direct mail promotions, campaigns and programmes to the Study and Sports database within pre-agreed Study and Sport Experiences budgets and timescales and with all relevant approvals
- Contribute to, and critique on the content, design and production of direct mail literature and other marketing materials where necessary
- Assist in maintaining the consistency and integrity of their logo and brand across all areas of marketing within the group
- Build relationships both internally and with external suppliers and other contacts from quoting, negotiating, scheduling, briefing, production and approval of creative, through to execution of promotions.

Key Skill required:
- Travel Industry experience
- Experience of working with an Email Service Provider (preferably Dotmailer)
- Knowledge of print mailing production processes and postage buying
- Knowledge of brochure production processes
- Proven track record in writing effective sales & marketing copy for digital and print
