Based within Swindon College's busy Marketing department, an exciting opportunity exists to join the team and work in an outstanding college. Working across a wide range of social media and digital marketing activities in a practical role.
Day to day management & maintenance of all content on the college website. Regularly updating, reviewing and coordinating all cross-college content, news and information as required.
Plan, create, execute and evaluate innovative and attractive social media campaigns, across multiple platforms. Engage different groups of stakeholders working with marketing team members to agreed budgets and measure effectiveness.
To respond to enquiries and postings on behalf of the college and individual departments, liaising with cross-college staff when appropriate. To pass on any posts which raise safeguarding issues to the Safeguarding Manager and/or the appropriate Student Enrichment Manager
Plan, create, execute and evaluate effective email marketing campaigns
Investigate new digital marketing opportunities.
You will demonstrate your ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines which will call upon your excellent communication skills. You will demonstrate extensive experience working on social media and email marketing platforms, including populating, editing and content management. SEO knowledge and experience is also essential.
A degree or equivalent marketing qualification is essential for this role as well as Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English or commitment to gaining within 24 months.
