Are you a confident problem solver who can stay cool and calm under pressure with a passion for excellent customer service? If so this permanent Duty Manager vacancy at this prestigious National Museum that might be the role for you.

As the Duty Manager, you'll be responsible for the day to day operation of their front of house services. This involves ensuring that the museum looks great and that each visitor experiences a day out to remember from the welcome they receive as they arrive to the fond farewell as they leave - and everything in between!

You'll manage the team who deliver that welcome, including fundraisers, gallery assistants and the call centre function. You will also deal with and resolve any issues which arise during the day which may include health and safety incidents.

You'll have the skills and personality to motivate your team to engage visitors, solicit donations, sell handbooks, offer tickets and capture data. You must be conscientious, reliable and able to lead your team to success - museum experience is not essential.

This is a full time permanent position.
