This is an opportunity to join a privately owned company that has built a strong reputation amongst all of their clients as being a high-end bespoke door company. Currently they are seeking a Showroom Assistant who is ambitious and who is looking to build a career within their company. The role is permanent, working 5 days a week in the highly respected Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour.

This role requires a motivated, dedicated and organised individual. You will be expected to be a fast learner and to gain knowledge of all their internal and external doors, ironmongery and bespoke furniture. This is in order to be able to deal with clients over the phone, in the showroom or by email when called upon. On the job training will be offered, but the individual will also need to use their initiative to pick up knowledge through the website, brochures and listening in to showroom meetings with senior sales staff.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Required to assist with quoting using their in-house system for both Chelsea and Surrey showrooms.
- Be responsible for arranging samples / brochures going out, keeping in direct contact with the Surrey office for this aspect.
- Will be called upon to get in contact with clients who have received quotes in the past to see if the project is still live.
- Take charge of the showroom whilst the showroom manger is out at client meetings or on leave.
- Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge to high profile clientele.
- Ensure that any customer complaints are managed in an efficient and professional manner.
- Required to work 2 Sundays a year for design week exhibition.

Key skills for this role:

- Very organised with very high attention to detail.
- Will need to follow a high standard of interpersonal etiquette when talking by telephone/ email/ in the showroom.
- Be immaculately presented, suitable for a high-end showroom environment.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- A like of interior design would be helpful.
