The role:
The goods in and production co-ordinator is responsible for accepting all raw materials they use into the factory, checking them against their purchase orders and booking them into stock. Good physical fitness is required as you will be manually handling bulky and sometimes heavy items.

The production co-ordinator aspect of the role involves organising the orders in production to keep close tabs on stock they need to order, scheduling production runs and to ensure that production schedules are met.

Core responsibilities:
- Goods in - Checking and accepting goods into stock before booking them in on their in-house computer system.
- Stock control - Physically checking stock levels as orders come in to flag items they need.
- Production co-ordinating - Printing off orders, keeping tabs on where stock is, planning production runs and implementing them.
- Packing and dispatch - Assisting with daily dispatches to ensure all goods that are made leave the factory.
- Production operator - Where required, jump into the production lines to assist in busy periods or to provide holiday cover.

About the person:
- Good physical fitness as booking goods in requires a lot of manual handling and putting away of stock.
- Is reliable and hard working.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent level of attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel and computer systems.
- Comfortable in creating and updating reports in a timely and effective manner whilst maintaining accuracy.
- A quick learner with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Previous Goods-In and warehouse experience is required.
