18.5 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Salary £23,000 per annum pro rata and £5,000 Market Supplement pro rata per annum (actual salary is £11,500 per annum plus a £2,5000 per annum Market Supplement.
We require a Trainer / Assessor - AAT at our Corby campus, to oversee the effective co-ordination, delivery and deployment of integrated programmes of competence based training.
The successful candidate will; recruit, interview and complete initial assessments of learners; provide instruction, guidance and support to learners and assess learners' performance against award standards. You will co-ordinate the internal verification process, implementing and maintaining the College policies and procedures.
The essential criteria for this vacancy is a Level 3 qualification in the relevant sector area (AAT). The successful applicant should hold Assessor qualification and have a good all round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2). You will also have recent relevant commercial or industrial experience within the occupational area and experience of coordinating competence based programmes and liaising with work based providers/employers.
