Lettings Administrator

This is an opportunity to join a long established business (since 1982) and No 1 Estate agency global business. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, be educated to degree level or in the alternative have relevant experience. Attention to detail, excellent oral communication skills, ability to write well and work to deadlines is a must. This is an opportunity to further develop your skill set and grow with the company.

Main Purpose of role: To assist negotiators and director to negotiate the let of residential property in sufficient quantity to meet agreed performance targets and carrying out marketing activities.

Hours: The role includes working between Monday to Friday 40 hours

Reporting to: Company Director

Main administration activities:
- General Administration tasks and any other duties required to support the Lettings department
- Making sure all parties involved are kept updated (Landlord/Tenant/Contractor)
- Communicate with the negotiators in order to manage any check out appointments, check in appointments and inspections that are required to constitute any tenancy renewals.
- Process references and tenancy paperwork alongside this.
- Answer the telephone and deal with any client /applicant/ tenant queries promptly
- Coordinate property inspections and client meetings for team members where requested
- Assist in the reference and credit check process for new tenants
- Provide all post move in documentation for tenancies
- Maintain the renewal process
- Maintain systems/date base
- Assist with the completion of adding any new properties onto the in house system and keeping adds up to date
- Assemble mailing list and distribute via the in house system
- Comparative Market Analysis

Training:

The Individual:

- Must have at least 12 months experience in the property industry
- Must be extremely organized and efficient
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral, written communication skills and confident personality
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft - specifically with the ability to use MS Word and Excel
- Good knowledge of central London would be preferable
- Tech savvy
