This fast growing company develops, manufactures and sells a range of highly innovative products offering improved cleaning and antimicrobial performance to the food production and processing industries.

Their objective is to help customers minimise their inputs (energy, water, chemicals and labour) and maximise their outputs (yield, product quality, safety and profit) through more efficient and effective cleaning and disinfection.

This is a full-time appointment within the business, working with a motivated team of professionals that has secured significant investment to grow the company. The role would report and work directly with the Finance Director.

The company is developing its company processes to show good control and be efficient in the reporting of financial information to the Board and the Exec team. The role will require working closely with the team and Finance Director to produce monthly management accounts.

You will work collaboratively with the colleagues to help them be responsible for their departmental expenditure. This will include helping staff to create budgets and manage against agreed targets. As Finance Manager you will be responsible for supporting the production of these financial statements and presenting the information.

As Finance Manager you will be encouraged to develop commercial skills within the business and contribute innovative suggestions to improve performance, gain efficiencies and reduce and control operating costs.

Key Tasks:
- Undertaking the data entry of all the financial accounting information required to produce accurate, reliable and relevant monthly management accounts to agreed timescales
- Cash control including reporting and management support
- Managing the escalation procedure in recovering over-due debts from customers
- Working directly with all stakeholders in ensuring the month-end accounting close procedures are delivered
- Developing relationships with vendors who provide inventory for cost of sales transactions
- Verifying margin contributions and getting involved in the development of customer profitability
- Managing the monthly salary transactions with the external bureau
- Maintaining and updating monthly reporting routines to achieve the production of accounts on-time
- Being responsible for calculating the monthly and quarterly commission payments
- Ensuring compliance is maintained over the published appropriate Authority Levels

Key Skills:

- Relevant professional qualification to do the job
- Technical ability in using the Zoho-CRM and QuickBooks platforms
- Must have good PC skills in using Excel and similar software applications
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar position
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with good interpersonal skills
- Analytical ability to interpret financial information
- Must be capable of delivering required tasks and reporting within agreed deadlines
