This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing national waste management and recycling companies in the UK. Our core business is to provide a facility management based service offering environmental solutions to both medium and large sized companies. We work in different market sectors such as construction, civil engineering, industrial, and retail taking care of all aspects of waste management. Our services range from contracted schedules to adhoc movements.

Due to our continued growth we have a position available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our expanding company.

This role is predominantly based around providing an exceptional balance between Debt Management and Purchase Ledger. You will have an excellent telephone manner, organisational skills and be perceptive with regards to meeting the tight deadlines of an ambitious company. The ideal candidate would be highly organised, solution orientated and capable of working competently in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

Key Skills/Experience required:

- Previous experience of working within an Accounts position is essential
- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is preferred however is not necessary
- A good level of computer skills
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team where needed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure whilst adhering to tight deadlines

Job Responsibilities/Overview of the role:

- Supplier payment liaison & negotiation
- Customer invoice disputes including lodging, investigating, negotiating and liaising with other departments to resolve
- Processing Incoming calls/emails
- Purchase Invoice checking
- Supplier Invoice dispute resolution
- Proof of delivery checking, scanning and filing
- Supplier Statement checking
- General administration
- Credit Control

Salary: £16,000-£18,000 Dependant on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm & an occasional Saturday morning 8:30am-12pm on a rota basis

Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays
