An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised, approachable individual to join the accounts team at their well established Franchised Dealer group in North/West Yorkshire, with a history of strong performance. This is a great chance for anyone wanting to progress their career.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Accounts Manager the Managing Director & Senior Management team offering support in this key area of the business. You will support the Group Accounts Manager in preparing the trial balance, reconciliation of stock, completing prepayments and accruals and balance sheet reconciliation in order to complete monthly management accounts. You will also be required to support with the VAT return; working closely with Vehicle & Accounts Administrators at the Dealerships. Involvement in presenting management accounts, nominal breakdown and KPI's to Dealer Principals at Branch will be a key element of the role; exploring opportunities to grow the business. Comprehensive training and support in all areas of the business will be provided.

Relevant Experience & Qualifications Required:
Previous experience required, ideally in excess of 1 year at a Franchised Dealership. Part CIMA or AAT qualified (or working towards being qualified) or equivalent.

You must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel in which you will be highly proficient.

Additional responsibilities will include:
- Maintain high accounting & vehicle administration standards across the group and provide support in fully reconciled monthly accounts & associated vehicle administration duties.
- Support the Group Accounts Manager in ensuring that excellent internal controls are in place and all processes and systems are being applied at Dealerships, including overseeing group auditing requirements, supporting compliance at the Dealerships.
- Encourage & maintain good communication channels between the entire Accounts & Vehicle Administration teams.
- Work closely with Heads of Business in relationship to accounting issues, bringing them to a conclusion in a timely manner and presenting accounting information into the working environment.
- Ensure financial controls and reporting deadlines are adhered to in both Accounts & Vehicle Administration.
- Work closely with the Group Accounts Manager to produce accurate monthly Management Accounts and submit manufacturer composites.
- Provide input into the forecasting & budgeting process.
