This IT provider is in need of an experienced 1st line support engineer to work in their team of 6 / 7 staff. Excellent opportunities for advancement in their expanding company. They offer a range of managed services from bespoke support contracts to hosted services via their own hardware including VHD, Exchange, 365, SaaS etc.

You will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being assigned special projects and responsibilities where you are expected to work on your own initiative. They actively encourage you to further your qualifications and will offer assistance both in terms of remuneration and support.

- Experience in a 1st line or IT Helpdesk role
- Confident with telephone support
- Good problem solving skills
- Customer focus attitude
- Ability to learn, follow instructions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10, Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013 and 2016.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 to 2016
- Experience of Terminal Server / Remote Desktop Server
- Ability to work under pressure

Desirable skills
- Computer related certifications such as A+, Network+ or Microsoft.
- Experience of working in Microsoft and VMware virtualised environment.
