This small, rapidly growing IFA firm based in Leith is looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their busy office. Their ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience gained by working in an IFA office, or an investment or insurance company.

You must have a basic understanding of the financial services industry, appreciate the differences between platforms, and have an awareness of investments. Their aim is that you will become a paraplanner, and develop the ability to write reports under the supervision and guidance of their Financial Advisers.

Key Duties:

- Data input into their back office system, as well as into insurance companies systems and other platforms
- Research using their various IT systems
- Writing recommendation reports for review by their IFAs
- Interaction with clients via phone, letter, email, etc

The Person:

- It is essential that you have previous Administration and Customer Service experience
- You should be highly computer literate - (Microsoft Word, Excel and other internal and external IT systems)
- You should possess strong written and oral communication skills
- You must be highly organised, personable and hard working
- Financial Services experience is desirable, but not essential

Salary will be dependent on your experience but will be in the range of £15,000 to £22,000. The company will also provide a contributory pension, private medical cover, and life cover, all of which will come into effect after satisfactory completion of a probation period. Our client is willing to consider a job share and/or part-time workers as more than one position may be available.
