An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant in a commercial accountant role for an international manufacturer in East Yorkshire. No traffic jams, rural route to work and fresh air! Sound good?

THE ROLE:

- Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will undertake a wide range of duties including the preparation of month end accounts for reporting to the board

- Review work of other team members including bank reconciliations, fixed assets and key balance sheet accounts

- Analysis and interrogation pf project margins, preparation of monthly stock and accruals schedules, investigation of variances

- Process weekly payroll, government returns and payments, assist HR with reporting KPIs

- Preparation monthly VAT return, monthly intrastate and EC sales lists, maintenance of systems interface for sales invoices, assisting the process for managing sales, processing payments through the bank

- Ad hoc duties as and when required

THE CANDIDATE:

- A qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant, you have a high level of technical accounting competence combined with good systems knowledge and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Self motivated and ambitious you might currently be working in professional practice and looking to make the entry into industry

- You have a keen eye for detail, are able to plan your own workload and work well as part of a cohesive team. A good problem solver, you are able to work well across all areas of a business and levels of management

My client operates in the manufacturing sector and exports internationally. Located in East Yorkshire they are close to the coast and have contemporary new build offices.

THE BENEFITS: £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits including free parking
