The role will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of technical information the team deliver to existing and future clients around all contractor accountancy and tax advice prior to joining the group. A trained accountant by trade, the role requires that a high standard of accountancy, tax and contractor legislation information is delivered at point of sales for accountancy and umbrella brands as well as all written communication, be it digital, print or through existing client communications.

The role will be an integral part of the team to ensure sales advisors are well trained and coached in the valuable technical information (to varying audiences such as potential or existing contractor clients and agencies) they provide to future clients and that the marketing team is providing accurate messaging from a technical perspective.

Monitoring future accounting, legislation (e.g. IR35) and tax trends in the contractor market and feeding this knowledge into the marketing team to ensure all accountancy and umbrella brands in the group have a strong voice to support contractors is another key part of this role.

Responsibilities:

* Lead on ensuring all sales advisors have a good working knowledge of accountancy and tax principles to help contribute to high conversion rates at point of sale through imparting a good level of technical knowledge to prospects. Ensuring a strong service focused environment is supported by knowledgeable advisors

* This knowledge would be delivered through 1-1 coaching, call listening and follow up advice, reviewing sales scripts and general delivery of technical messages to aide ongoing development and improvements in joiner performance

* Monitor industry updates to any tax or accounting legislation that impacts contractors or limited company directors and feed this insight into the sales and marketing team, ensuring accuracy of information delivered

* Ensure all technical content in sales and marketing materials are kept up to date including things such as; website content, FAQs, training materials, sales scripts, calculators, recruiter facing content etc

* Help the marketing team identify opportunities and areas for improvement in the technical guides and content delivered on the website and marketing campaigns targeting contractors to attract new clients

* Review and contribute to technical accounting policies with responsibility of elements affecting customer experience across the group and with external partners, comfortable in delivering this message to an external audience.

* Manage all technical accounting standards across the team including the successful completion of audits for accreditations in areas such as FCSA, APSCO and other service standards relating to accounting best practice for sales and marketing.
