Blueprint Recruitment Solutions have a new opportunity for a Project Manager to join a global quality assurance and risk Management Company, on a contract basis in London. Our client provides classification, technical assurance, software and advisory services to the maritime, oil & gas, power and renewables industries. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to work as part of the Offshore Renewables Business, providing technical support during the negotiation phase with the wind turbine supplier.

The selected candidate will have the following roles and responsibilities:

* Taking the project through the Final Investment Decision and readiness phases to ensure the project is fully prepared for operation.

* Negotiate the Service and Maintenance agreement (SMA), develop the OPEX model, ensuring that all contracts are in place prior to handover.

* Recruitment of the site team and develop processes, procedures and operational tools.

* Organisational tasks, drafting technical schedules, obtaining Requests for Information for an accurate OPEX forecast and develop the strategy for logistics.

* Ensure that project requirements are developed with a strong emphasis on health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.

* Assist with the negotiation of the SMA, focusing on the technical requirements.

* Leading the updating and redrafting of SMA technical schedules including the identification of issues with the highest risk.

* Develop the contracting strategy, liaising with purchasing and each project work package to ensure a robust handover process.

* Organise own workload, setting overall annual and project objectives.

* Make recommendations to the Senior Management Team and provide regular document updates and attend meetings.

Essential requirements:

* Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline.

* Minimum 5 years’ offshore wind experience.

* Experience and knowledge of negotiating multimillion-pound commercial contracts.

* Strong understanding of H & S legislation applicable to offshore operations and electrical generation.

* Excellent communication skills, with ability to present effectively to management teams.

* Experience managing interfaces of multidisciplinary teams spread across multiple locations.

* Hold a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent HSE qualification.
