NES Global Talent is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to support a Chemical Manufacturer in the South West of England. The successful candidate will provide project management and project engineering expertise to site-based projects involving engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and commissioning activities.


- Develop plans and manage resources to deliver/finalise front end design, plan and cost estimation to sanction quality estimate standard Track record of leading/delivering projects to agreed timescales and budgets (£50k to £2m)
- Recent experience of factory expansions and procuring complex package equipment
- Ability to chair & record project meetings and design reviews and work unsupervised
- Manage the implementation of the plans ensuring that progress is maintained in line with objectives including overall project cost and timing
- Ability to understand/coordinate and influence key stakeholders
- Ability to find and work with design consultants and managing construction contractors
- High safety, health and environmental (SHE) standards (ability to challenge contractors)


- Relevant Engineering Degree
- Familiar with estimating techniques, design reviews and safe systems of work
- Strong technical & communication skills, good team leader
- Chartered Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
