Mortgage and Protection Manager, Wealth Management
A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ a Mortgage and Protection Manager, Wealth Management based in Wimbledon.
Hours 35 per week/permanent.

The Mortgage and Protection Manager, Wealth Management provides a range of services to firm’s customers, supporting key life events, such as buying a new home and protecting their family for every eventuality, providing confidence and reassurance. They listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future needs for Mortgage, Life Protection and General Insurance products, and providing the right solution to meet those needs.
The Mortgage and Protection Manager, Wealth Management will join the Wealth Management team to provide a range of services to HSBC customers, advising with respect of mortgage products and other related financial products and advises upon which products will be an appropriate investment for clients; advising clients on eventualities and analysing the financial position of clients, taking into account outgoings, dependants and commitments to identify and understand their current and future needs for Mortgage, Life Protection and General Insurance products, and providing the right solution to meet those needs to advise on the relative merits of mortgages that best meet the needs of clients given their personal circumstances.
The Mortgage and Protection Manager will also be expected to train employees to ensure they are all fully aware of all protection, mortgage and mortgage related products as well as coaching branch employees to generate quality appointments and finally to ensure employees keep up to date with financial products, to ensure the delivery of satisfactory compliance and quality measures are meet with the relevant regulatory authority. The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following attributes:
- Must hold a full CeMAP qualification or equivalent.
- CII RO1 (Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics) module is desirable; however, this is not essential for the role.
- Be able to undertake and complete the CII RO5 (Financial Protection) module within the first 12 months in the role.
- Ensure the delivery of satisfactory compliance and quality measures.
